Traffic Changes Planned Across Major Roadways

Several road projects are expected to affect drivers. In Lower Merion Township, preliminary traffic and crash analysis for a seven-mile roadway study will be discussed at an October public meeting; final recommendations are expected later, and the study itself does not decide which changes will be implemented. Missouri plans to shift westbound I-70 traffic onto newly built median lanes between Boonville and Missouri Route 87, temporarily closing three westbound ramps and the rest area during the work. On England’s A120 between Wix and Horsley Cross, overnight weekday closures through October 30 will allow crews to survey and clean drainage, with lengthy signed diversions for both directions. Slovakia’s National Highway Company also plans to repave about three kilometers of the D1 between Trnava and Horná Streda.
