Trump-Pardoned Crypto Investor Donates Record £36m to Reform UK
Crypto investor and BitMEX co-founder Ben Delo has pledged a record £36 million to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, saying the money will create a “fair fight” with Labour and the Conservatives and help the party prepare for government. Farage welcomed the donation, calling it a sign of confidence in Reform’s ability to reverse Britain’s decline. The contribution surpasses the previous record donation to a British political party, a £10 million gift to the Conservatives. Delo was previously convicted in the United States of a banking-secrecy violation and later pardoned by current President Donald Trump. The donation comes as Reform faces allegations that aides arranged for a U.S. firm to fund political polling, prompting an investigation and contributing to a decline in the party’s support.
