Trump posts 1,300-word attack on Maher

President Donald Trump attacked Bill Maher in a lengthy Truth Social post, calling the comedian a liar and a loser and criticizing his show after the two recently shared a White House dinner. Maher, speaking in a podcast episode recorded before the post, said Trump is less of a threat now than in the past and criticized wealthy liberals who voice alarm while their own lives remain largely unaffected; he also reiterated concerns about Trump’s refusal to accept election losses. On “The View,” hosts mocked Trump’s rant, with Ana Navarro suggesting he expects people he entertains at the White House to publicly praise him. The coverage highlights a growing public feud following Maher’s dinner with Trump and Maher’s subsequent on-air discussion of the president.
