Twin brothers umpire first MLB doubleheader together

Identical twin umpires Austin and Tyler Jones worked together at the major-league level for the first time during Wednesday’s Blue Jays–Orioles doubleheader in Baltimore. The 31-year-olds took different bases in the opener, then switched positions for the second game; Baltimore won both games 4-2. The brothers, who have worked in the minors since 2014 and separately umpired major-league games, said sharing the experience was something they had long hoped to do.
