Two arrested after woman found captive in Fargo
A maintenance worker conducting routine service at a south Fargo apartment found an adult woman in a bedroom who appeared to have been held against her will, prompting a police response. Arturo Calzada-Becerril, 40, of Fargo, and Erendira Amoles, 41, of Moorhead, were arrested on suspicion of felonious restraint; one report said formal charges had not yet been filed. According to court documents described in a local report, the woman was chained to a bed and told investigators she had been confined for about two years; officers freed her, and she was taken to a hospital for treatment. The documents also describe alleged physical and sexual abuse, while police have said the investigation is ongoing and have not released further details.
