Two people, an adult man and woman, were found dead after a shooting Nov. 1 outside the Amazon fulfillment center on Twin Mills Road in Virginia Beach. Police said surveillance footage indicates the incident was a murder-suicide and that the two people knew each other; their employment status at Amazon has not been confirmed. Authorities said there is no ongoing threat to the public, and the investigation remains active. Amazon said it is cooperating with police, offering support and counseling, and keeping the facility closed for at least 24 hours.
