Two Men Sentenced to Decades for Child Exploitation

Sean Alexander Meeks, 49, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was sentenced to 400 months in federal prison and 15 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to conspiring to distribute child sexual abuse material. Investigators identified him as the administrator of an online group where such material was shared and said he directed the group and distributed illicit content. A forensic examination of his phone found 17 videos and two images depicting child sexual abuse. The sentence also reflected Meeks’ 2007 conviction for possessing child pornography.
