Two Missing Women Found Dead, Third Located

Maria Beaman Gordon, 69, was found dead in her Santa Fe home on Oct. 29, six days after a family member reported her missing; her last known contact with the family member was Oct. 6. Detectives found no immediate signs of foul play and are awaiting the medical examiner’s determination of the cause of death. Police had encountered Gordon’s spray-painted car, missing its license plate, on Oct. 23, driven by Passion Lovette Stiglman, who said it belonged to her sister. Officers arrested Stiglman later on Oct. 29 after finding her driving the vehicle again with a different plate; she faces charges including unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and DWI. The investigation into Gordon’s death remains ongoing.
