Two Scripture Translations Debut After 30-Year Manuscript Study
PTT Research Group has released two English-language Scripture translations through its Truth Scriptures Project: the Ta’anak, covering the Old Testament, and a second edition of the Bariyt Hadash, covering the New Testament. The group says the translations draw on Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek sources, including the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Peshitta tradition, and reflect more than 30 years of research. Their distinguishing feature is the restoration of the name YAHUAH and other Hebrew names that the project says are often replaced by titles such as “the LORD” or “God” in mainstream English Bibles.
