Two Teens Indicted in Fatal Louisville Bus Stop Shooting

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted Tayon Hassell and Akira Thompson in the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Valley High School student Dannady Greene at a Louisville bus stop on Aug. 25. The teens, who were juveniles at the time and are being charged as adults, face charges of complicity to murder, complicity to tamper with physical evidence, and complicity to possess a handgun as a minor. Police allege Greene declined to fight Thompson and Hassell threatened her with a gun before she ran and was shot; Greene later died at a hospital. The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 26.
