Two Waterbury Teens Arrested After Alleged DoorDash Robbery
Two Waterbury men were arrested after allegedly taking a DoorDash order without paying while displaying what appeared to be a firearm at a home on Lone Oak Avenue early Thursday. Police said officers secured the scene and negotiated with the occupants before 18-year-old Javion Miller and 19-year-old Jakai Miller surrendered; no one was injured and no shots were fired. A search of the residence turned up a black AR-15-style paintball gun, according to police. Javion Miller faces charges including first-degree robbery and threatening and was held on a $250,000 bond, while Jakai Miller was charged with interfering with officers and released on a promise to appear.
