Two wounded in Jacksonville park shooting

Two people were wounded by gunfire near a high school football game at Lonnie C. Miller Sr. Regional Park in Northwest Jacksonville. A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. The man’s father said he learned of the shooting when another parent came to his home to tell him.
