U.S. Election Coverage Spans Results, Counts, Ballot Choices

Oxford County, Ontario’s 2026 municipal election returned six current county council members and brought four new members onto council, including new mayors in South-West Oxford, Zorra and Norwich. In Harrison County, Missouri, voters are set to choose a state representative and a member of Congress in the Nov. 3 general election. Maine’s ranked-choice primary tabulation involved extensive verification and public oversight, but technical problems and long delays renewed debate over whether the process is too cumbersome. Massachusetts voters, including those in Westford, will decide statewide and congressional races alongside nine binding ballot questions, with ballots spanning multiple pages. Oxford, Connecticut, voters will choose among listed candidates and decide whether to adopt a charter revision affecting review of long-term capital plans; absentee ballots must reach the town clerk by 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.
