UCF Wins Big 12 Opener Against TCU

UCF beat TCU 21-13 in a turnover- and penalty-filled game, opening Big 12 play with a win for the second straight season and improving to 3-1. The Knights’ defense held TCU to three second-half points, while backup quarterback Keyone Jenkins completed 19 of 20 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown; Landen Chambers’s late 1-yard scoring run provided the final margin. TCU entered the matchup after consecutive wins and with expectations for receiver Jordan Dwyer’s return, but the Horned Frogs fell to 2-2 as both teams began conference play seeking a fresh start in a wide-open Big 12 race.
