UCLA, San Diego State Near Rose Bowl Clash

UCLA and San Diego State enter Saturday’s Rose Bowl matchup at 1-0 after convincing opening wins, with UCLA defeating California 45-24 and the Aztecs beating Portland State 53-20. UCLA’s offense was especially effective on the ground, rushing for 277 yards and six touchdowns, while quarterback Nico Iamaleava added 184 passing yards and a rushing score.
