Union Extend MLS-Record Unbeaten Run to 13

Philadelphia Union’s season transformed after Ryan Richter replaced fired coach Bradley Carnell, with captain Alejandro Bedoya crediting Richter’s collaborative approach and tactical flexibility for helping restore the team’s confidence. After earning just seven points in 15 games, Philadelphia went unbeaten in its next 13, winning 11 and drawing two—the best such stretch in MLS history. The Union extended that run with a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake: Bruno Damiani scored in the first half, Milan Iloski added a late second, and RSL managed a consolation goal.
