United Plans Five New San Francisco Routes

United is expanding service from San Francisco in spring 2027 with flights to Charleston, Hartford, Oklahoma City, Richmond and Norfolk. Hartford and Oklahoma City will receive daily service, while Richmond and Norfolk will each have twice-weekly nonstop flights; Norfolk’s new route will also give Hampton Roads travelers connections through United’s hub to destinations across Asia. United is also adding summer flights from Portland, Maine, to San Francisco and Los Angeles, including extra midweek service during peak travel periods.
