US Nuncio Visits Seminary, Addresses Baltimore Catholics

Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Gabriele Caccia visited Baltimore and Mount St. Mary’s Seminary on Oct. 25, underscoring the Catholic Church’s ties to the United States and urging Catholics to live their faith through service and witness. In Baltimore, he celebrated Mass at the nation’s first Catholic cathedral and prayed at the tomb of Bishop John Carroll, calling the faithful “living stones” who keep the Church’s history alive. At Mount St. Mary’s, he celebrated Mass, met with seminarians and blessed a pathway honoring Blessed Stanley Rother, describing the seminary as a sign of hope. The two visits highlighted the nuncio’s engagement with both the country’s Catholic heritage and the formation of future priests.
