Vadzo Imaging Adds Five New Cameras for Medical and Security Uses
Vadzo Imaging is expanding its embedded-camera portfolio with modules designed for specialized imaging, security, and automation applications. The Falcon-1335MRS uses Onsemi’s AR1335 sensor to provide genuine 13-megapixel monochrome capture over USB 3.2 Gen 1 for diagnostic imaging, clinical documentation, and high-resolution slide scanning. For professional content production, the Falcon-2020CRS combines Onsemi’s 20-megapixel HyperLux AR2020 sensor with wide dynamic range and Dynamic ROI over USB 3.2 Gen 1. Vadzo also introduced low-light Sony-based cameras for continuous surveillance: the 2-megapixel Merlin-290CRS uses the IMX290 over USB 2.0 for perimeter and facility monitoring, while the Merlin-291CRS uses the IMX291 for parking areas, campuses, loading docks, and access-control points. The Bolt-234CGH adds Onsemi’s AR0234 global-shutter sensor, VCM autofocus, and MIPI CSI-2 connectivity for barcode scanning, kiosks, robotics, and other applications requiring accurate capture across changing working distances.
