Vermont Green Coach Steps Down After Back-to-Back Titles
Vermont Green FC men’s head coach Chris Taylor is stepping down ahead of the 2027 season, saying he needs to prioritize family and can no longer give the club the commitment the role requires. Taylor joined the club before its inaugural season, served as an assistant before taking over in 2025, and led the team to back-to-back USL League Two national championships while remaining unbeaten in competitive matches. He leaves after winning seven trophies in two seasons, including two division titles, two conference titles and the 2026 Hank Steinbrecher Cup; club leaders praised his coaching and lasting impact on the team and community.
