Vertex Lab Combines V2Fun AI With GPT-6 Astra for Editable 3D Assets

Vertex Lab demonstrated a workflow that combines its V2Fun AI 3D-generation platform with GPT-6 Astra’s image analysis, planning and coding capabilities to create editable 3D assets from reference images. V2Fun generates complex components such as an excavator’s cab, tracks, arm and bucket, while GPT-6 Astra assembles and adjusts them with Three.js and adds controllable details including hydraulic hoses, pivot shafts and cabin controls. The company also showed an armored character and compared procedural modeling with a hybrid approach that combines generated components and code.
