Vertical Aerospace Begins Strategic Review, Seeks Partners

Vertical Aerospace has begun a review of strategic alternatives, including potential strategic and financial partnerships, to help fund the next stage of its electric aircraft program. The company has hired Jefferies as financial adviser as it shifts its focus from technology development toward certification, industrialization and commercial service. Vertical said its operations, certification work and commercial commitments will continue during the review, and it is targeting completion of its Critical Design Review by the end of 2026. The company cautioned that the process may not lead to a transaction or a change in strategy.
