Following his battle with Bane, Bruce Wayne is paralysed from the waist down, unable to continue as Batman to bring order to Gotham following the completion of Bane's mission. Jean-Paul Valley steps into the cape and cowl to defend the city and stop Bane, but his methods differ signficantly, proving to be far more violent and ruthless than Bruce. Based on characters from DC and the DC Comic Book Event, Batman: Knightfall by Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon, Alan Grant, Dennis O’Neil, Peter David, Jo Duffy, Jim Aparo, Graham Nolan, Norm Breyfogle, and Jim Balent.
