I Need To Do Better. A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND, MOM LIFE CHAOS & A MUCH-NEEDED RESET

Welcome back, friends! ❤️ It's a little bit of everything in this weekend vlog: the beautiful moments, the exhausting moments, the mom-life chaos, and all the thoughts swirling around in my head lately. 😂 Because apparently, my full-time job is carpooling, managing a household, trying to keep everyone alive and on time, and occasionally remembering that I'm a person who needs to take care of herself, too! We kick things off with a little chat about the REALITIES of parenting and how carpool has basically become my entire life. Then we have a very special weekend because it's HOMECOMING! 🥹 ✨ HOMECOMING WEEKEND & A BEAUTIFUL MILESTONE Avalina gets to enjoy a beautiful brunch and bouquet party with her friends before the big dance. The girls all get ready together, the boys arrive, and they take the most gorgeous photos! It was such a special afternoon, and seeing my girl all dressed up with her friends, enjoying this season of life, was just the sweetest thing. She deserves every bit of this fun, and I love watching her make these memories. I also share some clips of the beautiful setup because so much thought and effort went into putting everything together, and I thought it might inspire anyone planning a similar event! And you guys… THE DOGS. 😂🐶 Easily some of the most amazing dogs I've ever seen, and obviously we had to admire them together! 🤧 MOM LIFE DOESN'T STOP WHEN YOU GET SICK After all the excitement, I end up with an upper respiratory infection, and let me tell you, this thing is LINGERING. Being sick is no fun, but when you have a family and a household to run, life doesn't exactly press pause for you. So we're hydrating, taking vitamins, trying to get some rest, and carrying on the best we can. It also got me thinking about how much better I need to take care of myself, and how the little habits we have each day can make such a difference. 🏡 A HOUSE RESET, MORNING ROUTINES & SOME THOUGHTS I'VE BEEN HAVING While I reset the house and get on with the day, I share some things I've been thinking about lately, especially our morning routine. I've been hitting snooze more often, partly because I've been sick and need the extra rest, but I've also been wondering how much our mornings are affected by the choices I make at the very beginning of the day. When I sleep in, the kids tend to sleep in a little longer, too. Then we're rushing, everyone feels behind, and the whole morning can feel different. It's amazing how one small habit can create a domino effect for the entire family! I also share some really interesting information I learned while listening to a seminar about the benefits of physical activity before school, including research on how even a short period of movement may help support children's attention, readiness to learn, and overall well-being. I found it so insightful and wanted to share what I learned with you! We also talk about sleep deprivation and what happens when we repeatedly hit the snooze button. It's made me think about our routines, how we're sleeping, and the small changes that might help our days feel a little less rushed. I'm not trying to become a perfect mom with a perfect morning routine. 😂 I just want to feel better, be more intentional with my time, take better care of myself, and create a little more breathing room for our family. So that's life lately! Beautiful milestones, busy schedules, sickness, housework, motherhood, and trying to figure it all out as we go. 💬 LET'S CHAT! Do you hit snooze in the morning, or are you one of those people who magically wakes up ready to take on the day? 😂 And have you noticed a difference in your kids' moods or focus when they get some movement before school? I'd love to hear what's worked for your family! Thank you so much for watching, hanging out, and being a friend. ❤️ I'm so glad you're here, and I hope this video feels like we're catching up together.
