Tonight: Flights are now beginning to resume after an air traffic control system failed, along with a fiber optic cable accidentally being cut on Monday. The issues caused major widespread delays on the East Coast. Plus, CNN, MS Now and Politico have sued after President Trump revoked their access to the White House for what he called one-sided coverage of the administration. Also, President Trump is set to hold high-stakes meetings at the United Nations, including potentially with the President of Iran. And police say they are investigating Presley Gerber’s death as a suspected overdose. Gerber is the son of Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. A source close to the investigation tells NBC News he had just checked into the rehab facility the night before. Also, hundreds of Americans are suing GLP-1 drugmakers Novo Nordisk and Ely Lilly, saying they were not adequately warned of the potential danger of vision loss. In statements, Novo Nordisk says, in part, they are “vigorously” fighting the lawsuits, saying they are “without merit,” while Eli Lilly says in part, it maintains “patient safety” is its “top priority.” And in Good News Tonight, players from the Cincinnati Reds met with kids from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, according to the team, and signed a custom baseball card created for each child. Outfielder TJ Friedl got the team together for the event, and the mission was a personal one. He spent time in the hospital as a child.
