Vietnam Ministry Prepares Security Operations for APEC 2027 Events

Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security is preparing security and medical operations for major national and international events in 2026–27, including APEC 2027, after reporting that security was successfully maintained at five major events in 2025. Separately, officials in Dong Nai are considering repealing two outdated Binh Phuoc-era resolutions on commune police, whose legal foundations have expired and whose former part-time personnel are now covered by newer rules.
