Virginia Student Convicted of Groping Nine Girls Deported

Israel Flores-Ortiz, 19, was deported to El Salvador after being convicted of nine counts of assault and battery for groping female classmates at Fairfax High School in Virginia. He entered the United States illegally in 2024 and was released from the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody on Aug. 31 after serving most of a sentence of less than one year. An immigration judge ordered his removal on Aug. 10, and DHS said he was deported on Sept. 8. The deportation was carried out under current President Trump's administration.
