Virginia Tech Draws Elite 2028–29 Prospects

Virginia Tech’s 34-24 win over Georgia Tech and the atmosphere in Blacksburg made a strong impression on visiting recruits as James Franklin builds momentum with the 2028 and 2029 classes. Four-star 2028 safety Zion Dobson praised his conversations with Franklin and the staff, the fans’ energy and the family atmosphere; he also enjoyed seeing Hokies receiver Que’Sean Brown deliver a career-best performance. The visit further strengthened Virginia Tech’s position in Dobson’s recruitment. Class of 2028 tight end Mason Hill also called his visit a great experience and received a scholarship offer from the Hokies.
