Warm, Dry Weather Expected Across Southern Cities
Forecasts across several U.S. regions call for a shift toward quieter, mostly sunny weather after recent rain in Southern California, where weak Santa Ana winds are expected to bring warmer, drier conditions into early next week. In southeastern Louisiana, seasonable temperatures and dry weather are expected to persist, but drought, dry vegetation and strengthening winds are raising wildfire concerns; no meaningful rain is forecast for at least a week. South Carolina is also headed for sunny, breezy weather, with cooler weekend highs and rain chances holding off until at least next weekend. San Antonio is expected to remain warm and mostly sunny through Saturday, with a modest cooldown and possible shower chances later in the forecast period.
