The La Crosse Warming Center will open Nov. 1 and provide overnight shelter for adults experiencing homelessness, operating daily from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. at 413 South Third Street through May 1, 2027. Catholic Charities of West Central Wisconsin says the center relies on community support, including volunteers to staff shifts and donations of meals, money, toiletries, pantry items and warm clothing.
