Wawa plans stores across Pennsylvania, New Jersey

Wawa is expanding across Pennsylvania and South Jersey, with new store openings and construction projects underway. In South Jersey, a Winslow Township store is set to open Oct. 23 with free coffee through Oct. 25, giveaways for early customers and a first-responder fundraiser; the company has also won approval for another area project. In Pennsylvania, Wawa broke ground on its first State College-area store, planned for late 2027, as part of a broader Central Pennsylvania expansion, while another new location opened in Chester County as the company pursues nearly 100 store openings across 14 states in 2026.
