Charlotte Halloween Stays Dry; Showers Possible Sunday Night
The Charlotte area is expected to warm into the 70s through the end of October, with mostly dry, partly to mostly sunny weather. Halloween should be mild and dry for outdoor plans, with highs around 70 and cooler temperatures after sunset; rain is not expected to disrupt trick-or-treating. The latest forecast puts a chance of showers Sunday night into early Monday, with rain chances eased, while next week may turn more active. Daylight saving time ends Sunday, when clocks fall back one hour. The Carolina Ascent will host Lexington at American Legion Memorial Stadium on Halloween, with family activities, trick-or-treating and ticket offers. Community Culinary School of Charlotte offers job training and placement support and operates a Monroe Road café and bakery on weekdays.
