Halloween Forecast Varies Across U.S.
Halloween weather will vary sharply by region: parts of the Midwest and South Florida face drizzle, showers or downpours, while areas including San Antonio and parts of the Great Lakes and Midwest are forecast to be mostly dry or have only spotty showers during trick-or-treating. Utah is expected to see widespread rain and mountain snow, with heavier precipitation Sunday into Monday and flooding concerns in southern Utah; South Florida also faces possible flash and coastal flooding through Monday. Rain chances will rise in several regions early next week, including the Ozarks, where a slow-moving storm could bring more than an inch of rain and a low risk of isolated stronger storms. Elsewhere, conditions will range from light showers to dry weather, with generally seasonable temperatures before cooler air arrives in some areas later next week.
