Bark in the Park and Día de los Muertos top weekend events

Communities in Texarkana, Ocala, Loveland and Katy have a range of events planned for the Nov. 6–8 weekend, including live music, festivals and family activities. Texarkana’s schedule includes Saturday’s Bark in the Park, with pet vaccinations and registrations, and a downtown fall festival featuring vendors, food, entertainment and children’s activities, alongside live music at local venues. In Ocala, the First Friday Art Walk and accompanying music lineup are among the weekend picks, along with theater and a fall-themed polo match. Loveland will host its 10th annual Día de los Muertos celebration, as well as a Veterans Day-related film screening and writing workshop; Katy’s offerings include a fall festival, a large inflatable playground, a Broadway showcase, family events and live music.
