Western Forecasts Call for Rain, Cooling
Denver is forecast to turn cooler and showery over the weekend, with afternoon rain Saturday, another chance of showers Sunday evening into Monday morning, then drier and sunnier conditions. A separate regional forecast also calls for likely weekend rain showers, with a slight chance of snow at lower elevations; gusty southwest winds are expected beforehand. In California’s Coachella Valley, mountain showers are possible Friday, followed by drier, occasionally gusty northeast winds and warmer weekend highs in the 80s. A larger Pacific system could bring cooler weather to the Southwest around Halloween and widespread rain on November 1.
