Will Stein Named Dodd Trophy Coach of Month

Kentucky head coach Will Stein was named the Bobby Dodd Trophy’s October Coach of the Month after leading the Wildcats to a 7-1 start and a 4-0 October, including dramatic overtime wins over South Carolina and LSU. In his first season as a head coach, Stein has taken Kentucky to No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings, the highest position in program history, and first place in the SEC standings despite the team having been picked near the bottom of the league. The award recognizes on-field achievement alongside scholarship, leadership and integrity.
