WinCo Recalls Rolls Over Undeclared Sesame
WinCo Foods recalled 16-ounce packages of its store-brand hoagie rolls after the manufacturer, United States Bakery, found that sesame flour was missing from the ingredient list and allergen statement. The affected rolls have UPC 2-70552-00649-2 and best-by dates from September 10 through November 3, 2026, and were sold in California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. People with a sesame allergy or sensitivity should not eat the rolls and can return them to a WinCo store for a refund; the FDA warned that consuming them could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. No illnesses had been reported.
