Wisconsin flips 2027 Penn State linebacker commit

Minnesota linebacker Blake Betton flipped his 2027 commitment from Penn State to Wisconsin, giving the Badgers a regional recruiting win and adding an athletic, versatile prospect to their class. Betton, who had been committed to Penn State since April, had longstanding ties to Wisconsin’s staff and visited Madison again before making the switch. His departure leaves Penn State with one linebacker commitment in the class and marks another recent recruiting loss for the Nittany Lions, following quarterback Will Wood’s flip to Boston College.
