Wisconsin flips four-star receiver from Washington

Four-star 2027 wide receiver Dontay Tyson Jr. has flipped his commitment from Washington to Wisconsin, announcing the move on social media after committing to the Huskies on June 5. The 6-foot-1 Arizona prospect from Peoria High is ranked No. 338 nationally, No. 48 among wide receivers and No. 7 in Arizona in the 247Sports composite. His addition gives Wisconsin 24 commitments in its 2027 class, which Rivals ranks No. 25 nationally; Tyson is the Badgers’ third wide receiver commit. Washington retains three wide receivers in its 2027 class, including Arizona prospects, but loses one of its highest-rated recruits.
