Woman dies after accident at Lazy 5 Ranch

A woman has died from injuries sustained when she fell from a horse-drawn wagon at Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, North Carolina. The accident occurred Oct. 17, when a tree branch struck the wagon and startled the horses, causing three passengers to fall and be hospitalized. Her son, Eddie Quesenberry, said his mother suffered severe head trauma; his aunt was also seriously injured, while the condition of the third passenger has not been reported. Quesenberry said his mother was an organ donor and has started a fundraiser to help cover medical expenses for his mother and aunt.
