Grants and public sessions boost several women’s golf programs
Several women’s golf programs are expanding support and access for players. Chicago State’s women’s golf program received a $2,000 grant from the Chicago District Golf Association and Illinois Women’s Golf Association to support program needs and student-athlete development. Youngstown State is opening its indoor training facilities to the public for winter practice sessions, with proceeds benefiting its women’s team. In Yass, Australia, the Swing program offers women beginner-friendly golf clinics, and a grant from Tradies Clubs helped fund equipment for the initiative.
