Women Sentenced in Drug Cases Across Three Regions
Jinna Candice Moore, 44, of Fairburn, Georgia, was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for mailing synthetic cannabinoids to Alabama correctional facilities. An investigation launched in July 2024 linked intercepted packages to Moore and her commercial shipping account; evidence also showed she distributed the drugs to people outside the prison system. Moore pleaded guilty to three counts of controlled-substance distribution and three counts of unlawfully using a communication facility. The investigation involved the DEA, FBI, U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Alabama Department of Corrections.
