Three Shootings Injure Six in Fresno and Houston

Two men were shot outside a Fresno Tower District nightclub shortly after midnight Sunday after a fight between two groups escalated; both are expected to survive, and one was a bystander. Police recovered the gun and were working to identify the shooter, who was not in custody. In a separate Saturday night shooting at a Cypress Station Drive apartment complex in Harris County, two men were hospitalized after an argument turned physical; authorities said a woman suspected of firing into the crowd was detained, and prosecutors will determine whether charges are filed. Early reports described one victim as critical and the other in fair condition, but a later update said both were expected to survive. Houston police also reported two people with non-life-threatening injuries in a Saturday afternoon shooting on Aldine Bender Road; no suspect had been detained.
