Five Dead in Mundelein Murder-Suicide
Five adults—three men and two women—were found dead with apparent close-range gunshot wounds inside a Mundelein, Illinois, home after police conducted a welfare check late Sunday, Oct. 18. Authorities ruled the deaths a murder-suicide and said the victims were family members or in domestic relationships; two handguns were recovered at the scene. The victims’ identities and a motive had not been released as authorities conducted autopsies and continued investigating.
