Fresno House Fire Leaves 82-Year-Old Critical
An elderly man was critically injured in a Northeast Fresno house fire Sunday morning after firefighters rescued him from inside and provided emergency aid. He was taken to the hospital with severe smoke-inhalation injuries, while another man, identified as his son, escaped without injury. One report said a charging lithium-ion scooter battery caused the fire; another said the cause remained under investigation. The blaze severely damaged the home.
