San Jose Man Arrested in Alleged Machete Attack

A San Jose man allegedly attacked his neighbor with a machete on Naples Drive Sunday morning, then barricaded himself inside his home and refused police orders to come out. Officers took him into custody after a standoff that lasted about seven hours. The neighbor was hospitalized with a head injury and later released; he said he had previously received a restraining order against the suspect and had been threatened before.
