Wrexham, Swansea Draw 0-0 Amid Red-Card Dispute
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said Swansea defender Ben Cabango should have been sent off for a dangerous tackle on Callum O’Hare during Saturday’s goalless Championship derby. Cabango was shown a yellow card after a challenge that missed the ball and left O’Hare needing treatment, prompting Parkinson to call it a potential “leg-breaking challenge” and question the referee’s consistency. Parkinson also cited an earlier incident involving Cabango and Kieffer Moore, as well as the same referee’s previous red card for Wrexham’s Callum Doyle, in arguing that Swansea should have been reduced to 10 men. Swansea manager Vitor Matos declined to comment on the refereeing decision. The result left unbeaten Swansea top of the table, while Wrexham remained 10th with one win from five matches.
