WSFS Q3 Earnings Beat, Revenue Misses Estimates

WSFS Financial reported third-quarter 2026 core earnings of $1.75 per share, beating analyst expectations of $1.62 and rising 25% year over year. Revenue increased about 5.5% to $287.6 million but came in slightly below estimates. The regional bank cited loan growth, a 3.88% net interest margin and 30% year-over-year growth in Wealth and Trust fees; its core efficiency ratio improved to 56.1%. WSFS returned capital through dividends and share repurchases, buying back nearly 6% of outstanding shares during the first three quarters of 2026. Credit quality bears watching, as problem assets rose amid downgrades in multifamily and construction loans, and the company reserved for a student-housing loan.
