WWE is promoting its October 30 SmackDown in Charleston, West Virginia, as “Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil” Halloween-themed episode, with Danhausen set to host. The announced card includes three title defenses: Sami Zayn against United States Champion Trick Williams for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Chelsea Green against Nikki Bella for the WWE Women’s Championship, and Rey Fénix against Ricky Saints for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship. Gunther, who previously choked off Danhausen’s attempt to curse him, said he would appear on the show and issued the host a warning, while dismissing the special episode as something nobody cares about.

WWE reportedly signs four developmental recruits

WWE has signed four female prospects—Gabriela Martinez Asensi, Silvia Likki, Elly Finch and Tayleigh Robertson—to developmental contracts, and they have relocated to Orlando to begin training at the Performance Center. The recruits bring backgrounds in tennis, CrossFit, track and field, amateur wrestling and bodybuilding, and all previously participated in WWE tryouts.
