Wyoming Mother Missing After Kids’ Pickup No-Show

Kandice Gunter, a 30-year-old mother of two, was reported missing in Casper, Wyoming, after she failed to pick up her children from an after-school program—a behavior her sister described as completely out of character. Gunter had recently moved from Nevada to be closer to her children and was last seen in Natrona County; she was believed to be driving a gray 2016 GMC Canyon pickup with temporary Wyoming registration. Her phone was reported detected near Highway 387 and the Natrona County line, and relatives said it had also registered near Gillette. Her sister said they last spoke Wednesday morning, after which Gunter stopped answering calls, and that nothing in their conversation suggested a problem. Police are seeking information about Gunter’s whereabouts.
